A catch-all e-mailbox is one that collects all the messages sent to nonexistent addresses. For example, if your email address is info@domain.com, but somebody misspells it and sends an email message to inof@domain.com, it will still be received in the catch-all mailbox that you have configured. Only one single mailbox per domain name can have this feature activated and in this way you will never miss emails because the other party has an obsolete email address or has made a spelling mistake. The disadvantage of creating a catch-all mailbox is that you may begin receiving lots of junk emails, but this issue can be fixed by using anti-spam protection software. It’s also crucial to remember that a mailbox with an activated catch-all functionality cannot forward incoming emails to a third-party mailbox.
